Rod Cauhi is a director and cinematographer whose work sits at the intersection of author-driven cinema, contemporary visual language, and emerging technologies. His films combine technical precision with a strong aesthetic sensibility, where rhythm, composition, and atmosphere play a central role in the construction of each frame.
In 2024, he founded Daydream Studio, an artistic AI atelier dedicated to exploring new cinematic languages through the fusion of human authorship and advanced artificial intelligence. The studio operates as a creative laboratory focused on developing films and visual experiences that expand the boundaries of storytelling, aesthetics, and technology.
His AI-driven films have received international awards at festivals such as the NeuroMasters AI Film Festival (Moscow), MetaMorph AI Film Awards, Black AI Fest (England), RAIFF (Brazil), SIAFF (South Korea), and the Atlanta International AI Film Festival (USA), and have also been officially selected and screened in France, Italy, China, Australia, and Dubai.
Rod’s work brings together cinematic craft and technological experimentation, exploring new creative possibilities while maintaining the human vision at the center of the image.
